CeBIT, Hanover- 13th March, 2006 - Spectec, one of the leading manufacturers of mobile computing products has announced their new product plans for PDA and smartphone, Spectec¡¯s new SDIO product ranges such as SD camera, SD Video-To-Go card and SD GPS Receiver with Built-in memory slot will bring more advanced features into your PDA and smartphone.

The new SD camera models will have not only the high quality but also built-in Flash Light will be added to give even better quality when in dark environment, like at night. With the new driver, the camera will allow you to take high quality images and video clips within super macro mode and also to provide OCR functions, this new driver is also compatible with the old camera models (SDC-001A and SDC-003A).

Tired of carrying your laptops to presentations, conferences, etc.? Spectec¡¯s new SD Video-To-Go card, SDV-840, gives you the full advantages for presentation from your PDA/smartphone to projectors, TV and/or monitors.

 

The package comes with great software that will allow you to upload the presentation slides into your PDA/smartphone within short period of time, which with the user friendly designed remote controller; you don¡¯t even need to hold your PDA to tab for the next slide.

The video inputs which include VGA, SVGA and XGA resolution that allows you to connect to most projectors and/or monitors in today¡¯s market without bringing any extra cables; also, it offers 1024 x 768 simultaneous resolutions.

 

Finally, with the latest SD GPS Receiver from Spectec, this device has one of the most important features that are missing at the current GPS devices in the market which are the built-in memory slot; with the built-in memory slot, you won¡¯t need to worry about wasting a memory slot in your PDA/smartphone just to install the GPS¡¯s applications such as maps, utilities, etc.

This device is designed in compact size with stylish looking; therefore, it won¡¯t look like there is chunky block on top of your PDA/smartphone. Some GPS devices, you will need to have it pointing upwards to get the best signals, with Spectec¡¯s SD GPS receiver, it can be placed in any directions (pointing upwards or sideways) in your PDA/smartphone without affecting the GPS Signals.
